Coming from families that love to entertain, we at Wish to Play love to create spaces that facilitate having fun. Our dream has always been to offer a personalized, top of the line experience throughout the design and building process to guarantee a high end product for your family or business. From She Sheds to Man Caves and Princess Playhouses to Backyard Offices, our dream is to design and build incredible spaces where memories are made.
The owners of Wish to Play, Brian, Eric and Jimmy have a combined experience of 35 years in construction and design. Both the knowledge and love of creating custom entertainment spaces makes this team the perfect match for designing a space personalized to each customer.
Brian graduated from Stephen F. Austin University, he joined his family business, Grossman Design Build full time as a superintendent. With a creative mind, Brain has always loved building entertainment spaces. Designing and building the “Hobbit House”, Brian realized his love for this type of design. In 2017, Make A Wish and Grossman Design Build joined forces to create amazing play spaces for deserving kids. Shortly after, Brian started Wish to Play with Jimmy and Eric to further their love for creating luxury entertainment spaces for everyone.
Jimmy grew up with the family business working construction and traveling to projects throughout the United States. Eventually, Jimmy found himself working more in the office, sitting in meetings with the higher-ups, which exposed him to all levels of the business from the ground-up. He is now CEO of Kinley Corporation, a 110-year old family business, as well as involved with several other startups in the area. His passion is to take this experience and work with Brian and Eric, some good guys who are doing some good things for some good people in the area – in this case, that means building some amazing custom playhouses.
Eric went to Texas A&M and graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture and then went on to receive his masters from UTA. He began his career working for a real estate development firm, developing everything from neighborhoods to single tenant retail. He then transitioned to the family business, Grossman Design Build and his main focus is helping them grow through his design work. He is very excited to partner with other passionate people like Jimmy and Brian to help give back and build amazing playhouses for amazing kids.
